About Flowers

I fell into the world of floristry by chance but some 18 years later of working in the industry I cannot see myself doing anything else. The joy of creating beautiful displays and arrangements for weddings and events is a very special thing.

After working many years as a freelance florist I now take on a limited number of weddings each year. My style is loose, natural and reflective of the seasons. The process of creating florals for a special event is a creative one of trust and flexibility to allow my experience to create beautiful, characterful designs. Where possible I source British grown with much of my flower coming from Hampshire used alongside home grown stems.

With a background in textiles and much of my degree and masters being centred around hanging installations this translates perfectly into flowers for marquee weddings and events. Large hanging installations can really set the scene within a marquee which is a blank canvas to personalise the space. I love the freedom of a flexible brief to push boundaries and try new things.
